Niagara Falls has approved a new towering condo building set to be the tallest in Canada at 77 stories

The building, dubbed Niagara 77, is a proposed mixed-use development featuring condos, townhomes, and retail outlets. It was designed by Chamberlain Architect Services for development by  La Pue International and Fugiel International Group.

The building will sit at the corner of Robinson St. and Allandale Ave. in the Fallsview area of the city. The area is now largely underdeveloped home mostly to empty lots and a few houses. Some however will be home to the third tallest building in Canada (by the number of floors) and the tallest condo building in the country.
